How to look after your wipe clean oilcloth

Our oilcloths are both durable and long-wearing, allowing you to spend more important time with your family, and less time cleaning up messes and spills!

To keep your oilcloth in the best possible condition, we recommend wiping the surface with warm water, which can contain a small amount of detergent. Here are a few other top tips to help you make the most of your family-friendly oilcloth:

• Some tomato-based sauces and curry sauces can also leave marks and stains and these types of stains should be wiped away immediately
• Newspaper print can transfer onto the tablecloth if it is still damp from wiping
• Hot cooking oil will damage the surface
• It will definitely NOT withstand ball-pen ink, lipstick, nail varnish or shoe polish
• Do not place plates or dishes straight from the oven directly onto the oilcloth’s surface as it will not be able to withstand the heat
• To remove creases, the material may be ironed on the reverse (uncoated) side with a cool iron
• Your oilcloth must not be dry cleaned

Our oilcloths come in a range of sizes to suit all requirements. We have large oilcloths in 20 metre rolls and we have small oilcloths of just one square metre. There are plenty of sizes in between this to suit different lengths of table surface and we also offer round oilcloths to fit both indoor and outdoor tables.
