We’re so excited to be adding a new Orla Kiely design to our designer collection

Due to the success of our designer collection – we’ve added another iconic Orla Kiely design to our range.  Say hello to Orla Kiely Sweet Pea Orange Matt Oilcloth Tablecloth.

This very popular and iconic 1960’s inspired design maintains the linear stem look synonymous with Orla Kiely.  Using colours inspired from her Irish childhood, an Orla Kiely oilcloth is an asset to any home.  All our oilcloths can be used indoors and outdoors and we can add a parasol hole if desired.

This on-trend Orla Kiely oilcloth is coated in a beautiful child friendly matt coating; made from 100% cotton fabric, this is a top quality oilcloth product.

In this blog, we’d love to tell you a little more about the wonderful Orla Kiely

Orla Kiely OBE is an Irish fashion designer, now based in London.  Born in Dublin she is renowned for her 1960s inspired retro designs and was one of the first people to make handbags from ‘laminated’ fabric.

After qualifying as a Textile Designer from the National College of Art & Design in Dublin, Orla Kiely moved to New York and London to design wallpaper and fabric.  After gaining her Master’s Degree at the Royal College of Art in London in 1993, in 1997 she then set up The Orla Kiely Partnership with her husband.  The Orla Kiely brand went from strength to strength, whilst also working alongside the likes of Harrods, Marks and Spencer and Habitat.
