Only Oilcloths – our very first blog

So here it is – our very first blog on our brand new, shiny Only Oilcloths website!

We are absolutely thrilled to be able to offer you a fabulous range of oilcloth fabrics – spotty, striped, plain, gingham, floral and many more. You name it, we will probably stock it!

Oilcloth is hot property right now. Quite literally too as the material gets its waterproof finish by giving the printed cotton fabrics a hot melt vinyl (PVC) coating.

Gone are the days when oilcloth tablecloths were just seen as the practical solution for protecting the kitchen table. Today, these tablecloths are the perfect fashion accessory for your home and are a great way to add a new lease of life to your kitchen decor. The range of oilcloth designs available is forever increasing. There really are so many great patterns to choose from that we are sure that you will be spoiled for choice. At Only Oilcloths, we are always striving to bring out new designs including vintage, classic, modern and retro. Our oilcloths are practical and stylish too!

We also stock a great choice of children’s oilcloths, which can be used as a tablecloth or a play mat.
